General terms and conditions – Relocation Services 

A. Application for service 

Relonest Relocation Consultant will not perform any services without payment via relonest.com

B. Confirmation of Services

A request will block the due amount for maximum 24 hours until confirmation of the requested Relonest Relocation Consultant. If no confirmation is received or if the request refused, the total amount will be returned and no administration fee retained.

C. Additional packages 

Additional packages should be purchased via relonest.com and will not be delivered without approved payment

D. Confidentiality Information transmitted of a confidential nature will not be shared with any third party, except where this is required in order for us to deliver our services. The nature of our services requires us to share information with certain service providers relevant to the relocation and settling-in process, in particular landlords, insurance companies, banks, telecoms companies and occasionally other similar service providers. This information will be used solely for the purpose of assisting with the relocation and settling-in process. Data will be kept secured and with restricted access at all times. We will return all confidential material including copies immediately if requested by the instructing party. 

E. Fees, charges and expenses 

Fees are quoted exclusive of local VAT.

Cost of lunches or other meals are not included in the package prices, nor other disbursements like governmental registration fees. 

F. Standard business hours 

Prices are based on a Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm (bank holidays are classified as non-working days). An additional 50% surcharge will be levied on work done outside of these hours. Prior agreement will be requested from the client before delivery. 

One day is based on 8 hours face to face service.

G. Home rental 

Whilst Relonet Relocation Consultants will do their best to secure the rental property working within the restraints of the market and accepted business practice, ReloNest. cannot be held responsible for the refusal of a lease application. 

H. Car Capacity 

For Family tours, including two children or more, a rental car may be required and should be arranged directly by the client. ReloNest Relocation Consultants have a capacity of maximum 4 person.

I. Security deposits for rental properties 

ReloNest or ReloNest Relocation Consultants cannot be held responsible for a security deposit which is not liberated by the landlord. 

J.  Cancellation policy

In case of cancellation of a programme by the client a cancellation fee will be applicable as follow:

Cancellation in the 48 hours before the service:
100% of total price will be retained by Relonest

Cancellation between 48 and 72 hours before the service:
50% of total price will be reimbursed to you.

Cancellation more than 72 hours in advance:
A cancellation fee of CHF 250 as administration fee will be retained and the remaining amount will be reimbursed.

Services already started will not be reimbursed.

In case of cancellation of a programme by the ReloNest Relocation Consultant, 100% of the fee will be reimbursed.

If due to a major reason,  a service  that has started but still not completed, has to be cancelled by the Relonest Relocation Provider , ReloNest will arrange a replacement if possible, otherwise reimboursement will be pro rata.

Art. 8 Pre-existing damages 

relonest.com or Relonest Relocation Consultant cannot be held liable for any pre-existing damages to the properties.

The Relonest Relocation Consultant will carry out the services with reasonable skill and care; the services will have the nature of an obligation carried out to the best of one’s ability. The company’s liability to the customer for any breach of this contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise shall be limited to the invoice value payable by the customer for the specific service under this contract. In no circumstances shall the company be responsible for any consequential loss, however incurred, including without limitation loss of profit, business or anticipated saving.
